Chairman and Founder – Sourlis led the operations of Mortar Net^® USA, Ltd. from its founding until 2011 and today serves as its chairman.  Prior to Mortar Net^®, Sourlis had founded Sourlis Masonry Restoration and worked for nearly 25 years repairing buildings that, in large part, had been damaged by trapped water in masonry walls.  He attended Illinois Institute of Technology for four years as an architecture student.

Sourlis has worked on such notable historic buildings as The Rookery, The John J. Glessner House, Holy Family Church, and the Chicago Water Tower.

On October 21, 2010, Sourlis was honored with the Innovation Fellow Award by the Society of Innovators in Indiana.

President - Gary assumed his current responsibilities in September 2011 after serving as an independent director since 2004.

Johnson is an executive with more than 30 years of experience in leading technology companies to serve global markets.  He led the formation of a private equity group to purchase an established crystal growth operation, led its turnaround, and created a successful exit for the investor group.  He then worked with multiple venture capital groups in advisory, director, and CEO capacities to envision and execute paths to commercialization for emerging technologies. Most recently he was CEO of an early stage company pioneering the development of thin, flexible printed batteries.

He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MS degree in Industrial Administration, both from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.

Business Development Manager – Tricia works very closely with the internal sales team, co-manages the day-to-day operations of our corporate office, manages project tracking and reporting, administers the Company's LEED program, and assists with technical information. Tricia has been with Mortar Net^® USA since April, 2005.

Customer Service Manager – Kelly manages our distributor network, customer service, quotations, and incoming purchase order processing.  Kelly co-manages the day-to-day operations of our corporate office, maintains product inventory levels, administers the health insurance plans, and sets up trade shows. Kelly has been with Mortar Net^® USA since April, 1995.

Controller – Bill is responsible for accounting operations, including working capital management, payables, receivables, budgeting, and financial reporting.   He coordinates the annual review with Mortar Net^® USA’s independent auditors.  Additionally, he manages the company’s traffic sources, negotiating freight rates and service level to achieve the highest value.

Bill joined Mortar Net^® USA in November of 2004.  He has bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Business from Florida State University.  He continued his education at DePaul University in Chicago where he worked on an accounting degree.

Marketing Comminications & Business Development - Art joined Mortar Net on November 1, 2012.  Actually, he re-joined the company then.  He was the company’s first Chief Operating Officer from 1992 to 1995 and has worked for the company as a marketing and business building consultant ever since.

Art is in charge of all advertising and marketing content, helps create marketing, product, tradeshow and business strategies, and produces all the company videos. 

Art holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University, is a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, has taught business writing at DePaul University since 2000, and is a published author.

Engineering Manager – Steven is responsible for providing engineering support services and product training for the full family of Mortar Net^® products.  He provides the pre-engineering flashing take offs, flashing system solutions for contractors and distributor training.  Steven joined the company in August, 2010.

Prior to joining Mortar Net^® Steven worked for the engineering firm Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates performing facade evaluations and repair concept details.  He also worked for WASCO, Inc. as a Project Manager, completing jobs in masonry restoration, terra cotta repair, precast erection, granite and marble installations, and site masonry projects.

Steven has a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering Technology and two associate degrees in Civil Engineering and Drafting and Design Specializing in Building Construction.

Advertising Manager – Candice is responsible for the production of materials for and the coordination of marketing and advertising at Mortar Net^®, including print ad campaigns, product brochures, and exhibit graphics.  Candice has been with Mortar Net^® USA since August, 2007.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction and Contracting from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Media Communication and Training from Governors State University.  Most of her career has been in marketing communications for technical and engineering companies.

Business Development Associate – Angela supports the marketing of Mortar Net^®’s product line by ensuring the timely delivery of samples and product information to the construction community, distributors, and sales team; managing the company’s contact relationship manager database; and assisting with day-to-day sales and customer service tasks.

Angela graduated from Indiana University NW with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  She has prior sales and customer service experience in the retail environment.  Angela has been with Mortar Net^® since March of 2006.

Business Development Associate – Greg assists the company field sales team by managing leads and following active construction projects from the initial specification stage to closing sales, maintains the company website and electronic newsletter.  Greg has been with Mortar Net^® USA since February of 2011.

Greg graduated from Daytona Beach Community College in 2007.  He completed his Associates of Arts degree during his junior and senior year of high school which allowed him to transfer directly to the University of Florida as a junior.   Greg spent 3 years in the Warrington College of Business Administration program at the University of Florida where he graduated in April of 2010 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management.
